Regional Call for Regional Private Sector Financial Organisations Seeking GCF Accreditation Status

The Climate Change Division of the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation (Government of Jamaica) is seeking your assistance to disseminate a CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR REGIONAL PRIVATE SECTOR FINANCIAL ORGANISATIONS INTERESTED IN SEEKING ACCREDITED ENTITY STATUS UNDER THE GREEN CLIMATE FUND TO SUPPORT THE CARIBBEAN REGION.

The Call is related to the final component of the private sector readiness grant “Mobilising the Private Sector to Support Low Carbon and Climate Resilient Development in Jamaica and Other CARICOM States”: Accreditation Support. As you are aware, to become accredited potential candidates will have to undertake a thorough review against the GCF fiduciary standards and environmental and social safeguards and gender requirements.

Peruse the official Request for Expressions of Interest along with the accompanying Annex for completion to assist with the shortlisting of potential candidates for accreditation.

 The submission deadline is Friday, October 25, 2019 at 4:00 pm (UTC-5).
