Video: Jamaica’s new fish sanctuary thrives on strong engagement and support from the surrounding fishing community
The June 2014 edition of the Caribbean Fish Sanctuary Partnership (C-FISH) newsletter titled “Focusing on Action and Success” is now available. C-FISH is aimed at strengthening community based fish sanctuaries and marine protected areas (MPAs) in 5 countries across the Caribbean – Jamaica, Grenada, St Lucia, & St Vincent & the Grenadines.
The Caribbean Fish Sanctuary Partnership is a £2.1-million project funded by the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development (DFID) through the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC). Peruse the newsletter here and a related video here.
